Our Waterproofing Process
For exterior waterproofing in the GTA, we start by excavating around the foundation walls and footing. After removing old and weeping tiles, we clean the foundation walls. From there
check the foundation walls for any holes, cracks, or structural damage. then, fill any holes or cracks with hydraulic cement., after we install new four-inch weeping tiles with filter cloth.
We supply and apply a rubber membrane to the foundation walls (This is the primary waterproofing layer!). We then supply and install a dimpled polyethylene membrane (The secondary waterproofing layer!).
Finishing it all off, we supply and install a layer of ¾ clear stone over the weeping tile, if the windows are below the grading level we install window wells, and ¾ clear stone, We then back fill and compact the excavated area to grading level.
Depending on your preference, we can top it all off with sod (grass), concrete, interlock, or flower bedding. Our team always cleans up every job site upon completion and ensures the job is completed to your satisfaction.
